I really like this one, a very soft and warm palette. Additionally, it reminds me of those colonial cutout images! But by far, I am so taken with how you drew their hair and the nice detail on his vest and caravet :) A heartfelt thank you and my goodness, you have brought me such lovely joy from these images and for presenting the Jefferson story for others to enjoy because I know that so many have hardly a clue about who Martha even is.

thank you for all your lovely comments! you have no idea how i appreciate your words... yes you are right: a lot of people don't even know Martha and their love story (they mainly associate TJ with Sally, which is understandable btw) and it's a shame because it's, in my opinion, one of the most tragic in American History.

So I've heard...it makes me sad that that is the only woman they often focus on in his life. I've always sort of stuck with his first lost love and can't help myself, their story is just so impactful and sad! And I agree, it's one of the most dramatic and tragic in American history yet no one ever hears about it. Wouldn't it be great if they made a film about it :dance:?
