"You died in summer... and it seemed that the whole of nature mourned you the following two seasons."
I don’t even know if Thomas could bring himself to attend the wake, or even the ceremony. I doubt that a lot.
If yes, then he would have been a total wreck at his wife’s wake, so here my ‘version’ of this hypothetic situation. Traditionaly for the wake, the body is washed, the clothes (the prettiest or favourite ones of the dead) stuffed with spices and herbs, and flowers placed around for the smell.
I wanted to make Martha look very thin, cadaverous and i like the whole result but i see flaws like her asymmetrical arms, the too sharp colors of the flowers, the lack of perspective, and more… i hope you like it at least a little because i'm quite proud of this one to be honest
EDIT: the use of wedding rings for both partners is very new. early 20th century/end of the 19th if i'm right. it was just the woman wearing it initially, so no ring for him!
and NO i'm ABSOLUTELY NOT MONOMANIAC! leave me alone...

oh gd, this hurts so much ;___; why must you make me feel something for these people who died hundreds of years ago...!!
UGH. The pain/heartbreak I feel for these characters is so real. Why does it have to be so sad?
and thank you very muhc! i'm glad you like my pictures
But ... when I saw the flowers I couldn't can't stop thinking about Padme! I hope Thomas J. did not become Darth Vader. I'm just joking! ... and, yeah, you're in the right way if you want to kill me
Summarizing : Excelent Job! Hope more of this two soon!
and THANK YOU!
This is beautiful! Simply beautiful and it breaks my heart!
But really, this is insanely beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time, you are way too talented to exist
