- because they got married on New Year’s day 1772 and i do believe this year -and year 1773- was the happiest year in his life
(every New Year’s Eve after her death must have been a painful reminder for him … ugh *MY FEELINGS FOR THESE TWO!!*)
yeah, romantic 18th century stuff
- note: i'm going on vacation (YAY HOLIDAYS!) so i won't be able to update during a while. about the drawing: i was too lazy to clean the lineart so i just add very simple colors. warning: just in case… it doesn’t deserve it, i know, but DevARt hates me. media: piece of paper, hands, photoshop
Beautiful piece, I love the muted colors and the motion in the piece... and I really love their hair don't know what it is but my eye immediately goes there first.
Ah its magical! What a precious moment of happiness and contentment. You way with emotion is just thrilling, I can feel their joy radiating off of them! And their hair, oh how nicely colored it is, I appreciate the modesty and I like how you muted everything else. Also, the lines are so thin-I love it! Also, can you explain how you make your backgrounds? Is it a solid color with a texture layered over?
thank you for sharing this
